During the visual art classes we learnt how to sketch using the pencil. First we started practicing various pencil strokes such as hatching, cross-hatching, stippling etc. The next lesson we were practicing shading techniques and how to gradually change dark colour to the light. We also learnt about light and shade as well as blending technique. The next few view lessons the students were given sets of black and white pictures of objects and they had to make a pencil drawing of these objects. Veronika
